此碗体型硕大，撇口，弧腹略收，圈足，鸡心底。通体施青白釉，底素胎无釉。内外绘青花纹饰多层，文饰饱满，全器被青花纹饰所覆盖。此器青花发色纯正，构图严谨。碗心纹饰寓意“凤穿花”，凤凰在古代被视为瑞鸟，为百鸟之王。凤凰牡丹纹是瓷器装饰的典型纹样之一。牡丹为富贵之花，而凤凰则为吉祥之鸟，故凤凰牡丹是一种象征或喻示吉祥内容的图案。元代前前后后还不到一百年，作为一个王朝，它虽然短暂，但元青花却是我国瓷器中璀璨夺目的一颗珍珠。元代青花瓷器装饰有两种形式：一种是以青花料直接在白色胎体上描绘纹饰。另一种是以青花为地，衬托白色花纹。这种装饰形式始于元代。留白纹饰都有凸起。此碗即为蓝地白花器之代表作。
The bowl is large, with its mouth closed and its abdomen slightly closed. The whole body is glazed with white, and the sole is unglazed. Inside and outside painted blue and white patterns, multi-layered, full of decorations, covered by blue and white patterns. The color of this device is pure, and the composition is strict. The heart of the bowl symbolizes "Phoenix wears flowers". In ancient times, Phoenix was regarded as a Rui bird and the king of birds. The Phoenix peony pattern is one of the typical patterns of porcelain decoration. Peony is a flower of wealth, while Phoenix is an auspicious bird. Therefore, Phoenix peony is a symbol or symbol of auspicious content. Before and after the Yuan Dynasty, it was less than one hundred years ago. As a dynasty, it is short, but yuan blue and white is a dazzling pearl in our porcelain. There are two forms of decoration of blue and white porcelain in Yuan Dynasty: one is to depict ornamentation directly on white carcass with blue and white material. The other is blue and white and white pattern. This form of decoration began in the Yuan Dynasty. There is a bulge in all the white ornamentation. This bowl is the representative work of the blue white flower.
