此观音立像形体精美头戴高冠，宽额丰颐，面相沉静，眼光俯视，笑意含蓄，神态优雅。双手姿势柔软，右手屈臂上举于胸前，手指自然舒展，手掌向外，这一手印表示佛为救济众生的大慈心愿，能使众生心安，无所畏怖，所以称无畏印。左手覆于左膝，指头触地，以示降伏魔众；体态丰腴，身姿修长，衣纹简洁，线条流畅。跣座立于束方座之上。众多明代造像中，此尊造像的方座也较为特别，一般明代造像座基常采用单个仰莲圆座，而此尊造像双脚各踩一朵莲花，底座为束腰方台形须弥座，极为罕见。铜质细腻，鎏金纯厚 ，装饰华丽，工艺精良著称。本尊观音造像之所表现：其衣纹折转自然，灵动流畅;裙裾花纹繁缛，铸造精工;整体气度兼备宗教神圣气韵与皇家王者气派，堪称精品。背后铸款，大明永乐年施，此佛面容端祥，微露喜悦，俯视及平视显女相，仰望则显男相，在艺术造型中是十分罕见的。二手二足外露，坐姿优雅，尤其是其封底完整，从磨损的鎏金中还隐约看到佛教法器＂十字杵＂的印记，较之无底者，更显珍贵，是佛像中的极品。
